my name is michael van london

i grew up mostly in a small town in Michigan hosting about 500 people

least to say,  beautiful place but not enought people for me

i had been playing music my whole life, my first word was "tape"

strangely enough, and here i'am today, playing music

i moved to NYC at a young age and studied my craft, hovering over the

cool flames of those before me, i.e. Juliana Hatfield, Pj Harvey, Jeff Buckley, The White Stripes, The Pixies

I played my ass off in the never ending New York City rock n roll circuit

I had the oportunity to go to Paris at the end of 2002 and took it

playing europe was an incredible experience for me

i then moved to the great land of rock history, Boston

Boston was a great opening for me

being published in several magazines , playing some amazing festivals and shows, meeting some other wonderful musicians, and recording two ep's

gaining airplay and being featured on a compilation of Boston based rockers and the like

very exciting for someone from a smal town

the new city : Los Angeles

the great big city of Angels or not so much so

i think this year will be exciting and a breath of fresh air

working on several projects now, i only expect great things this year

while im laying on the beaches of LA
